Battery report files
When you select a Windows battery-report HTML file, the checker reads it locally in your web browser. The file and its contents are not uploaded to or stored on our web server by the checker. The selected file remains in browser memory only for the current page session and is cleared when you reset or leave the page.
Information a web server may record
Like most websites, our hosting provider may create standard security and access logs. These may include an IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, referring page, date, time and response status. Such logs help deliver the website, prevent abuse and investigate technical problems.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
The core battery checker does not require an account or set a tool-specific tracking cookie. Battery Health Lab uses Google Analytics for basic site measurement and may use Google AdSense to display advertisements. These services may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information such as browser or device details, referring pages and interactions with this website.
Google advertising cookies
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. Visitors can manage or opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. They may also review industry opt-out choices at AboutAds.
Consent choices
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Battery Health Lab uses a Google-certified consent management platform. The consent message allows visitors to consent, decline consent or manage their advertising preferences. Advertising and analytics choices do not change how the battery checker handles a selected report: battery-report files remain in the browser and are not provided to Google or advertisers by the checker.
Contact email
If you email us, we receive the address, message and any information you voluntarily provide. We use it to answer your request, prevent abuse and maintain a reasonable record of correspondence. Do not attach a battery report unless you understand and accept that email is different from the local checker.
